Zoning Board of Adjustment
The
Zoning Board of Adjustment
has five members and acts on applications for Zoning Ordinance variances. This board hears and makes decisions on appeals to certain actions taken by City representatives. Members must be registered voters and must have resided in the city limits for at least one year. One member of the Board shall be an active member of the Planning and Zoning Commission. The Council may also appoint alternates as needed. Currently there are two alternate positions on this board, one of which is a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission. There are two regular and one alternate position to be filled this year.
Zoning Board of Adjustment meets every third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. unless otherwise specified.
